Does Brightwheel sync with Huckleberry? Not yet, but it will soon.

The short answer: not yet. Brightwheel and Huckleberry don't have a built-in connection, so there's no official way to send your baby's daycare naps, bottles, and diapers from one to the other. databébé already does this automatically for Lillio and Procare, and Brightwheel is the next daycare app we're building support for. Join the Brightwheel waitlist to hear the moment it's ready. Until then, the options below are the fastest ways to get Brightwheel data into Huckleberry.

Why don't Brightwheel and Huckleberry connect?

They're built for different people. Brightwheel is built for daycares to run the classroom and share the day with families. Huckleberry is built for parents to track sleep and feeding at home. Neither app offers a way to send daily activity to the other.

That leaves parents doing the transfer themselves, usually by reading the Brightwheel feed at pickup and retyping it into Huckleberry.

How can I get Brightwheel data into Huckleberry today?

1. Screenshot the Brightwheel feed and photo-log it. Some trackers can read a screenshot of a daily report and turn it into entries. Huckleberry's assistant, Berry, can log from a photo or screenshot of a childcare report. It's still a daily step, and you'll want to double-check the entries before saving, but it's much faster than typing.

2. Log only what SweetSpot needs. If retyping everything is what's making you quit, just log the naps. SweetSpot's nap and bedtime predictions depend on sleep, so that one habit keeps your predictions useful. We've found that diapers and bottles get less important to track as your baby gets older, but the sleep recommendations are still incredibly helpful.

3. Type it in at the end of the day. One batch entry after pickup is easier to stick with than logging each event as the Brightwheel updates come in.

When will databébé support Brightwheel?

Brightwheel is next up on the databébé roadmap, and it's what we're working on now.

When it's ready, it will work the way Lillio and Procare do today: connect Brightwheel and Huckleberry, and on your daycare days databébé adds the naps, bottles, and diapers to Huckleberry automatically before pickup. See how that works in the Lillio and Procare guides.
