How to sync Lillio with Huckleberry automatically

The short answer: Lillio (formerly HiMama) and Huckleberry don't connect on their own, so most parents end up retyping the daycare report every night. databébé connects them for you. On your daycare days, it adds the naps, bottles, diapers, and meals your daycare logged in Lillio to Huckleberry automatically, before pickup. It takes a few minutes to set up and costs $3/month.

Can Lillio connect to Huckleberry?

Not directly. Lillio is built for daycares to share the day with families, and Huckleberry is built for parents to track sleep and feeding. Neither app has a built-in connection to the other.

That's the gap databébé fills. It signs in to your Lillio parent account, fetches the day's report, and adds each entry to your Huckleberry timeline, so SweetSpot knows about the nap your baby took at 12:30.

What comes over from Lillio to Huckleberry?

In Lillio In Huckleberry
Sleep Naps, with start and end times
Fluids (bottles) Bottle feeds, with amounts
Bathroom Diaper changes (wet, dirty, or both), including when diaper cream was applied, and potty events for toddlers who are training
Meals Solid foods

A note on meals: Lillio doesn't record a clock time for meals, just the meal name. So databébé uses a typical time for each one: breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12pm, afternoon snack at 3pm, and so on. Everything else keeps the exact time your daycare logged.

Photos, notes, and learning activities stay in Lillio.

How do I set it up?

  1. Sign up at databebe.com and choose Lillio as your daycare app.
  2. Sign in to Lillio and Huckleberry. Use the same email and password you use in each app. Your logins are stored encrypted.
  3. Pick your child and choose your daycare days. databébé runs on those days, timed to finish before pickup.

That's it. From then on, your baby's daycare day shows up in Huckleberry on its own.

Why bother getting Lillio data into Huckleberry?

Huckleberry's SweetSpot predicts the next nap and bedtime from the sleep it knows about. If your baby's daycare naps aren't in Huckleberry, the prediction is working from half a day. One missing 90-minute nap can throw off bedtime.

Most parents stop tracking within a month of starting daycare because retyping the report is too much. databébé means you don't have to choose between accurate predictions and your evenings.

Wondering how this compares to photo-scanning the daycare report? Here's every option, side by side.
